Analysis on export of LED lamps in Zhongshan in the first half of 2013

Zhongshan entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau statistics show that in the first half of 2013, the 17399 batch of Zhongshan City, the export of electric light sources and lamps, the value of about $570 million, an essentially flat year on year. From the point of view of the export destination, the EU and the United States is still the largest overseas market in Zhongshan two lamps, accounting for 42.9% of total exports. South America and the Middle East is the fastest growing two markets, an increase of 22.4% and 19.5%, respectively.

From the type of export products, the export volume and value of LED lamps were increased by 136.2% and 119.8%, accounting for more than 10% of Zhongshan electric light source exports, showing a strong momentum of development. From the statistical data, energy saving lamp exports fell 13.6%. From the second half of last year to this year, energy-saving lamp exports have been declining, in addition to Africa and Southeast Asia and other parts of the country are energy-saving lamp exports, electric light source market of medium developed countries by some basic source instead of LED. With the LED light source and energy-saving lamps prices continue to close, the export share of energy-saving lamps will continue to be LED extrusion.
