What are the types and differences of low-voltage lamps?

Low voltage light strips, mainly made of flexible light beads and matched with different external materials, have formed many different types, including the following:

Bare board light strip: Generally, double-sided backing tape is applied to the back of the light bead board for easy fixation on the surface of various installation materials. Bare panel low-voltage light strips are generally used in conjunction with aluminum, and are mainly installed indoors.

Drip adhesive lamp strip: Apply soft silicone on the front of the lamp bead board, and still apply double-sided adhesive on the back. This type of adhesive strip provides slightly higher protection for circuits and lamp beads compared to bare boards.

Glue filled lamp strip: Similar to high-pressure lamp strips, the bare lamp bead board is sealed with resin or transparent PVC plastic on the top, bottom, left, and right sides. This can achieve a good level of protection and can be used outdoors.

Sleeve lamp strip: Cover the bare plate lamp strip with a rectangular transparent silicone sleeve, and seal the plugs on both sides with silicone. Because silicone has superior performance compared to resin and PVC, including better temperature resistance, stability, excellent resilience, less deformation, and high insulation. Moreover, the sealed sleeve light strip can also be used in outdoor scenes, and even has an IP67 protection level.

Silicone lamp strip: Similar to a sleeve, but wrapped in a thicker, two color silicone. White silicone is used to block the circuit board, bringing a more beautiful appearance. Milk white silicone is used for light transmission, which can soften individual LED lights and form a continuous light strip. It also has all the excellent characteristics of a sleeve light strip, making it one of the best quality light strips.
