This year, Micro LED has become one of the key words to the future display technology. In this regard, LG Display institute director Yin Zhurong told reporters that the company has started research in this technology, but the technology cost is huge, the cutting technology requirements are very high.

Yin Zhurong analysis, Micro LED and OLED development is red. Micro LED in large size 150 inches and 200 inches above the high-end market has certain advantages, such as in the clarity. However, about 80 inches in size and below the market, the price advantage is more OLED. Micro LED on the screen, large screen, commercial, outdoor signage market has an absolute advantage, this is because either LCD or OLED, in the mosaic of the time can still see the border, the maximum overload side also can see the borders, Micro LED can realize the seamless splicing.

"Micro LED high cutting precision is required, only through the semiconductor engineering to realize the cutting." Yin Zhurong said.
