Recently, China Conductor Optoelectronics won the bid for a 0.4μm high-precision AOI inspection equipment project for the front-end Array process of a head panel manufacturer.
It is reported that AOI equipment is mainly used to detect short circuits, open circuits and minor defects on glass substrates during the display panel manufacturing process, which is directly related to the yield and cost of the panel. It is indispensable in all aspects from array (Array), cell (Cell) to module (Module).
According to the data, Zhonggui Optoelectronics focuses on the R&D, production and sales of flat panel display and semiconductor wafer automatic optical inspection (AOI) equipment. It is one of the few equipment companies in China that has achieved scale and marketization in the field of flat panel display AOI. Its product line covers testing equipment for mainstream display technologies such as TFT-LCD and OLED. The company has become a front-line Array testing supplier for head panel manufacturers such as BOE, TCL CSOT, and Tianma Microelectronics, and its products are used in batches in multiple high-generation mass production lines.
China Conductor Optoelectronics stated that the Array process, as a front-end core process in flat panel display panel manufacturing, directly determines panel circuit accuracy, yield and display quality, and is a key quality control link for mass production of high-resolution panels.
Previously, the field of 0.4μm-level ultra-high-precision detection was technically blocked by foreign manufacturers, and it has been difficult for domestic companies to break through. This winning bid is the first domestic head panel manufacturer to adopt domestic solutions in the 0.4μm ultra-high-precision inspection process, marking that domestic flat-panel display front-end ultra-precision inspection equipment has officially got rid of its dependence on imports.
