Wuhan CSOT Optoelectronics has invested an additional 320 million yuan to build a pilot platform for the transformation of new display technology achievements

At the scene, key pilot platforms in Wuhan, including the laser processing technology pilot platform of Wuhan Huagong Laser Engineering Co., Ltd. and the new display pilot platform of Wuhan Huaxing Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., announced the start of construction in Optics Valley.

China Optics Valley news said that based on the 4.5th generation flexible display panel test line that has invested 1 billion yuan, CSOT will continue to increase investment and invest an additional 320 million yuan to build a pilot platform for the transformation of new display technology achievements. The platform has a total site area of ​​5,700 square meters. On the basis of meeting the needs of internal technology opening and closing and pilot test verification, it will expand production capacity and add professional equipment and process production lines, and build a pilot platform line with full-chain process stages such as film packaging and modules. It will also promote the joint development and application verification of localized display panel "stuck neck" materials and equipment.

The laser processing technology pilot platform of Wuhan Huagong Laser Engineering Co., Ltd. has three provincial-level technology research and development platforms, including the Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory of Laser Advanced Manufacturing Technology, the Hubei Provincial Engineering Laboratory of Laser Advanced Manufacturing Technology, and the Ultrafast Laser and Laser Precision Micro-nano Processing Engineering Technology Research Center. The scale of the pilot platform exceeds 10,000 square meters and has nearly 100 professional and technical personnel. It is equipped with more than 100 sets of various laser processing equipment such as laser welding, laser cutting, laser 3D printing, laser surface treatment, etc., and more than 50 sets of testing auxiliary equipment.
