With a total investment of 4 billion yuan, Xita Technology Micro OLED project signed in Mianyang, Sichuan

On the morning of March 6, Xita Technology’s 12-inch Micro OLED semiconductor micro-display industrialization project with a total investment of 4 billion yuan was officially signed and settled in Mianyang High-tech Zone, Sichuan.

The implementation of this project will further improve Mianyang’s new display industry chain and promote the diversification of industrial technology routes. At this point, Mianyang's new display industry covers multiple technical routes such as Mini LED, AMOLED, and Micro OLED, forming a full range of products from large-size display panels to smart display terminals such as mobile phones and VR.

Xitai Technology was established in June 2016 and was registered in Wuhu, Anhui Province. It focuses on new semiconductor display technology and is mainly engaged in the research and development and product manufacturing of Micro OLED micro-display technology.

Currently, Xita Technology has a variety of full-color Micro OLED display screens, ranging in size from 0.23 inches to 1.2 inches, and resolutions from 640x400 to 1920x1080, which are widely used in AR, VR, MR and other fields.

In terms of projects, the Xitai Technology Micro Display Module Project located in Liandong U Valley·Chengmei Cooperation Digital Economic Industrial Park, Shigao Street, Tianfu New District, Meishan plans to invest in 5 production lines in the new area, mainly producing high-resolution Micro OLED micro display devices and modules. The products will be supplied to global XR terminal brands. After the production line reaches full production, the annual production capacity is expected to reach 3 million Micro OLED micro display modules, with an annual output value of approximately 2 billion yuan.

In terms of products, at the CES show in January this year, Xitai Technology exhibited a variety of full-color Micro OLED display screens include 0.39-inch 1024x768 resolution, 0.49-inch 1920x1080 resolution, 0.6-inch 1280x1024 resolution, 0.68-inch 1920x1200 resolution, 1.35-inch 3552x3840 resolution, etc. The exhibits cover 8-inch and 12-inch production line products. Among them, the 1.35-inch product is on display for the first time, which can create an immersive visual experience for high-end MR products.

In addition, Xitai Technology also demonstrated optical-mechanical module solutions with 0.49-inch and 0.68-inch displays with industry chain partners.
