The first domestic technology media collaborative promotion alliance was officially established

In early May 2014, the first domestic Technology Media Collaborative Promotion Alliance (TMA) was officially established. This move marked the formation of a new media form and cooperation model in the technology field. The alliance was co-initiated by 12 mainstream media and institutions in the industry, with the basic concept of "cooperation-win-win-upgrading-transformation" to promote alliance members to jointly face the opportunities and challenges brought about by the development of the technology and media industries. As the most active type of industry media, technology media has experienced rapid changes within and outside the industry. In the past, cooperation among industry media was relatively loose, but the Science and Technology Media Collaborative Promotion Alliance upholds an open attitude and is committed to building a collaborative ecosystem, which will be a useful attempt to transform and upgrade science and technology media.
Upgrade and Transformation
Faced with the emergence of new media, changes in content production methods, changes in user needs, channel platforms and other challenges, "transformation" has become a keyword in the entire media industry. Like other media, these practical problems reflect the pressure and urgency of media transformation. Industry media connect professional fields and groups of people. Traditional industry media have advantages in the professionalism and accuracy of content and services. However, communication and marketing are moving from single to integrated, and media need to transform from simple nodes in the communication and marketing chain to the integration of multiple roles. In terms of scale effect and cross-border influence, the advantages of traditional industry media have been impacted. Members of the Science and Technology Media Collaborative Promotion Alliance said that no matter from the perspective of the characteristics of the technology industry or the media environment, the technology industry media should make positive changes to avoid future crises. Through the alliance, industry media can complement each other's advantages and help each other with resources, not only to cope with challenges together, but also to seize opportunities.
Win-win cooperation
From content to products, from information to services, it is difficult for a single industry media to grow bigger. After the idea of cooperation is introduced, the space for development will undoubtedly become larger. Compared with mass media, the overall transformation of industry media is slower. Relying on external forces will undoubtedly reduce the difficulty of industry media's transformation and gain new ideas and opportunities. The Science and Technology Media Collaboration Promotion Alliance is committed to establishing a collaborative ecosystem in the field of science and technology media. Within the alliance, members complement each other's strengths and resources, and cooperate and interact in channels, content, activities, industry information and other aspects. For media, brand and asset building are also particularly important. The goal of the Technology Media Collaborative Promotion Alliance is to establish a credible and authoritative platform to enhance the influence and competitiveness of alliance members. The Alliance looks forward to more technology media and industry organizations joining, and believes that this will surely explore new directions for media development and technology industry exchanges in the technology industry.
