[BP] the Nikkei news agency reported TI (Texas Instruments) was released in 1 on chip to reduce the brightness of LED point deviation compensation function and gray control function for LED driver IC "TLC5942" and "TLC5945" (English released data). Mainly for large LED display, advertising LED display and a variety of display backlight units, etc.. The resolution is improved by improving the system reliability and dynamic brightness control.
TLC5942 adjust the brightness deviation of each LED with 128 gray level, TLC5945 is adjusted with the gray level of 64. Gray level, the 2 products are using pulse width modulation (PWM) mode 4096 gray level control, brightness deviation compensation and gray control can be achieved separately through a dedicated serial interface.
Two products are the output channel number of 16 channels, TLC5942 output drive current is 50mA, TLC5945 is 80mA. The maximum supply voltage of LED is 17V, the supply voltage range is 3 ~ 5.5V. The data transmission speed is 30MHz, the operating temperature range is from -40 to +85 DEG C, and the current accuracy of TLC5942 is 1.5%, TLC5945 is + -.
Product packages are available in 32 pin QFN and 28 pin HTSSOP. At present, the volume has begun to supply, the reference price of 1000 batches of the purchase price of $1.75.
