Supporting the expansion of 1.6T optical module production, Zhongnan Hongsi’s second delivery center is put into operation

On April 7, Bozhong Precision announced that the second delivery center in Changsha of its holding subsidiary Hunan Zhongnan Hongsi Automation Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongnan Hongsi") was officially put into operation.

The opening of Zhongnan Hongsi’s second delivery center will comprehensively enhance Bozhong Precision’s market supply capabilities in the field of optoelectronic automation equipment. The center is Bozhong Precision’s first production capacity upgrade project after completing the merger and integration of Zhongnan Hongsi.

It is reported that after the new center is put into production, relying on multi-base collaborative manufacturing, the delivery cycle of batch orders can be reduced to 1.5 months at the fastest, which is far better than the industry average and can effectively support the large-scale production expansion needs of 800G and 1.6T higher-speed optical modules.

In addition, Zhongnan Hongsi has fully integrated into the large-scale procurement system accumulated by Bozhong Seiko in the 3C and semiconductor fields, significantly optimizing the procurement costs of core components such as motion control and machine vision, and improving the overall cost-effectiveness of the equipment.

In terms of technology research and development, through talent sharing and technology integration, the two parties are promoting the transformation of Zhongnan Hongsi from a stand-alone equipment supplier to a provider of full-line intelligent solutions for "eutectic patch, optical coupling, automated testing and assembly".

At the same time, with the help of Bozhong Seiko’s international layout, Zhongnan Hongsi will further enhance its global service capabilities and help domestic high-end optoelectronic equipment enter overseas markets such as North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.

Lu Shaolin, chairman of Bozhong Precision, said at the ceremony that the opening of the second delivery center is a concrete measure for Bozhong Precision to deepen its efforts in the optical communications field. The company will continue to inject precision automation and global management capabilities, and work with customers to promote the localization and intelligence process of the optical module industry chain.
