On April 17, Stan Technology stated that the company plans to release a Micro LED automotive module product in May at an exclusive display event for Tier1 customers of leading automobiles. This product is based on a self-developed CMOS driver chip with a brightness exceeding 1000lm. It is mainly targeted at application scenarios such as vehicle-mounted short-distance projection.
At the same time, Stan Technology announced that its Siyuan second-generation white light module has completed the verification of the entire automotive ecological chain and successfully landed in the field of high-end home appliances, opening up all-area applications from vehicles to consumer electronics and smart homes, and officially entered a new stage of large-scale commercial use.
According to reports, this product integrates a 128*128 resolution and 35μm pixel pitch ten thousand-level pixel design in a 0.26-inch micro-display area, achieving a module brightness greater than 1000lm output. It has the characteristics of small size, low power consumption, and AM active drive, and is suitable for vehicle after-installation and other scenarios.
At the AMPA Taipei International Automobile and Motorcycle Parts Exhibition, some automotive display solutions have adopted this series of modules as core components. The company stated that through the integrated design of optical chips and CMOS driver chips, the product can meet vehicle-level reliability requirements, support dynamic screen display, and can be used in scenarios such as car light interaction and road information projection.
Outside of vehicles, this series of modules is based on the gallium nitride material system and miniaturized design, and has been used in some high-end home appliances. Related applications include projection equipment and interactive display panels, which can maintain visibility under strong ambient light conditions and support a variety of information display forms.
Previously, Stan Technology disclosed on March 1 that it had completed the B3 round of financing, with investors including Xiamen Science City Fund of Funds, Industrial Securities Capital, Longhua Capital and other institutions. After the completion of this round of financing, the company's cumulative financing amount in Series B has exceeded 200 million yuan. The company stated that the relevant funds will be used to promote the commercialization process in vehicle projection, AR display and industrial visual inspection.
