Li Jun, Chairman of Leyard: LED display will fully enter a new era of Micro LED display, with the annual order growth target anchored at 20% to 30%.

On April 10, Leyard Group's 2022 annual performance briefing and 2023 annual strategy conference were held in Beijing.

In the 2023 Group Strategy Interpretation session, Leyard Chairman Li Jun said that since Leyard held LEDAfter the small-pitch original product launch, the company's LED small-pitch technology began to surge, creating a global sales volume of more than 20 billion in five years. Net profit doubled for four consecutive years from 2014 to 2017. Leyard's small-pitch products soared from tens of millions to annual revenue of 4 billion to 5 billion yuan.

In the past ten years, Leyard's technological innovation has not only led Chinese LED display companies to the world display stage, but also promoted the sustained and rapid development of the global LED display industry. In 2023, Leyard MicroLED will achieve new breakthroughs, the global (China) market demand will continue to expand, and LED display will fully enter a new era of MicroLED display.

Li Nannan, director of Leyard Group, deputy general manager and secretary of the board of directors of Leyard Optoelectronics, conducted an in-depth analysis and interpretation of the company's operating conditions in 2022, and once again emphasized the technological advantages and cutting-edge progress achieved by Leyard in the field of MicroLED. Li Nannan said that in 2022, Leyard will achieve rapid growth by integrating its core advantages such as technology leadership, market layout, industry chain integration, and application expansion, as well as the broad development prospects of the industry. In 2022, the company's total operating revenue will be 8.154 billion yuan, and smart display revenue will be 7 billion yuan, accounting for more than 85% of revenue. Among them, MicroLED display products have achieved orders of 400 million yuan, an increase of 25% from 2021.

Leyard Group Executive President Yuan Bo said that during the epidemic, the display sector shouldered a heavy responsibility, growing by 23% compared with 2019, accounting for 85%. post-epidemicIn the era of love, the cultural tourism industry has experienced a strong recovery, prosperity has reappeared, and the market space is huge. It is expected that under the guidance of the company's stable business strategy, the three major business segments of intelligent display, cultural tourism night tours, and VR virtual reality (Metaverse) will achieve coordinated development and fly together.

At this conference, Leyard Group and its joint-stock company Saphlux released the world's first QLED4K direct display large screen. This product uses the industry's first commercial in-situ encapsulated quantum dot chip; it achieves full spectrum coverage, multiple primary colors, and better wavelength consistency; the RGB LED half-power viewing angle is consistent, and the display chromaticity viewing angle is better; the chip process is simpler, the yield is high, and the cost of flip-chip red LED is reduced.

For many years, Leyard has maintained close cooperation and interaction with Saphlux, leading the industry in realizing small-scale mass production of NPQD®R1 series quantum dot MicroLED chips. This is the first and only quantum dot MicroLED chip on the market that has completed customer verification, complied with industry standards, and entered commercialization.

Leyard has been deeply involved in the display field for 28 years. In the future, Leyard will fully learn from Hikvision. The company will move from a single product to an overall solution (software + content) and innovative technologies and business formats.
