ICDT 2026: TCL CSOT/BOE/Tianma/Hisense and others will exhibit the latest MicroLED products

On April 3, the 2026 International Display Technology Conference (ICDT 2026) concluded successfully at the Chongqing International Expo Center. The conference brings together the world's top experts and scholars, industry elites and well-known enterprises, focusing in depth on cutting-edge tracks such as new displays, micro-displays, optical engines, AI empowerment, and the metaverse, linking "chips-devices-systems" to display the entire industry chain and ecology.

At the exhibition, TCL CSOT, BOE, Tianma, Hisense, Xinshiyuan, Guochuangke, Yuanfang Information and other companies made a concentrated appearance, focusing on innovative products such as Micro LED.

TCL Huaxing

TCL Huaxing exhibited products such as ultra-high PPl single-chip full-color silicon-based Micro LED display (0.28"), the world's first brightest Micro LED AR-HUD display (4.6"), the world's smallest silicon-based Micro LED display (0.05") and ultra-bright Micro LED PHUD display (14.3").

The world's smallest silicon-based Micro LED display (0.05")

Among them, the ultra-high PPl single-chip full-color silicon-based Micro LED display (0.28") is 0.28 inches in size, using a silicon-based substrate and a single-chip full-color Micro LED pixel structure, with a resolution of 1280×720 and a pixel density of 10262PPI.

The world's first and brightest Micro LED AR-HUD display (4.6) has a brightness of up to 140K nits, with a contrast ratio higher than 100K:1, and a wide color gamut, which can present a more realistic AR display effect, which can be viewed clearly even when wearing sunglasses.

BOE

In the MLED exhibition area, BOE launched the COG P0.9 ultra-thin HDR Micro LED display TV (2K) all-in-one machine. The product has five characteristics: ultra-high definition, high brightness, extreme flatness, gentle eye protection, and seamless splicing.

Tianma exhibited a 27-inch TFT-based Micro-LED frameless splicing display. The product uses advanced Micro-LED display technology and TFT substrate solutions to achieve ultra-narrow seamless splicing and create an integrated ultra-large screen visual effect. It has the characteristics of high brightness, high contrast, and wide color gamut, and is suitable for many home scenarios such as large-screen viewing in the living room, smart home control, and light luxury home decoration.

Hisense

Hisense brings the world’s first 163-inch 4-color Micro LED giant screen 163UX Pro.

This product adopts a native four-color pixel architecture and integrates yellow light into the pixel design for the first time. The entire screen integrates 33.17 million Micro LED chips. Each chip is composed of four independent light-emitting units of red, green, blue and yellow. It can achieve the purest true color of up to 100% BT.2020 and the ultimate dynamic light and shadow of 10000nits XDR Pro, creating an immersive vision beyond the cinematic quality.

In addition, Hisense also demonstrated the world's first high-partition RGB-Mini LED display UX, equipped with three core technologies: exquisite true-color backlight from the same source as Hisense RGB-Mini LED TV, Xinxin AI image quality chip H7 and obsidian screen.

Xinshiyuan

Xinshiyuan focused on displaying core products such as high-performance Micro LED/OLED driver boards.

Guochuangke

Guochuangke showcases technological breakthroughs and mass production solutions in cutting-edge display fields such as Micro LED.

Yuanfang Information

Yuanfang Information brings a newly upgraded DCA series color analyzer, which can meet the different testing needs of LCD, OLED and Mini/Micro LED displays.

In terms of Micro LED detection, the CXC series microscopic imaging color luminance meter is equipped with a special microscope lens, which can achieve high-resolution imaging of Micro LED chips or very small components, providing an efficient and accurate solution for Micro LED detection.

CDT 2026 has come to a successful conclusion. The new Micro LED products exhibited by TCL CSOT, BOE, Tianma, Hisense and other companies demonstrated the cutting-edge breakthroughs and industrialization results of current new display technologies. From ultra-high PPI silicon-based micro-displays and large-size giant screens to vehicle-mounted AR-HUD and borderless splicing screens, various products cover diverse scenarios such as consumer electronics, home, and vehicles, marking that Micro LED is accelerating from technical verification to commercial implementation.

However, technology implementation still faces core challenges such as cost control, yield improvement, and large-scale mass production. In order to further explore industry pain points, analyze market trends, and promote in-depth integration of technology and business, TrendForce will hold the 2026 New Display Industry Seminar (DTS) in Shenzhen from April 22 to 23. Among them, there will be a MLED display special session on April 22, focusing on Micro LED technology iteration, cost optimization, application expansion, etc.; an AR/VR eye display special session will be set on April 23, focusing on micro-displays, optical engines and spatial computing scenarios.

The conference will bring together senior experts in the Micro LED and AR/VR fields as well as TrendForce analysts to have in-depth exchanges on key issues such as performance and cost levels, industry chain collaboration, and commercialization paths, providing direction reference for the next stage of development of the display industry. Industry colleagues are welcome to register for the conference to explore cutting-edge trends and connect with industry resources with experts.
